Batch #26 sold, and some shipped to Chino Hills and Alameda, CA.

I am now starting Batch #27. I have yet to make it tomorrow after doing errands. 17 bags are now pre-sold, with a few as gifts.

My dentist Joshua Ayoub suggested that I share the back story. Here goes:

I accidentally came to like the granola at a nearby bakery. It was sold for $11 for an 8oz. bag. It was fine. Then I bought granola from a high-quality bakery at $26 per bag. Okay, too much right to indulge my foodies’ palate?

So, I was talking to my daughter, who said, “Mom, you can easily do that.”

I hunted for recipes and came upon one. I did not like its ingredients – so sweet and included nuts.

I developed my recipe and experimented with failed batches, and hubby would say – too sweet or not too crunchy as before. I kept the feedback in the back of my mind.

Over several months, I kept up with making and shipping at once. I did not want to pre-produce without existing orders. When I made the procedure as make today, ship tomorrow, my customers ordered by the dozens. My biggest order came from my friend who lives in New York. She ordered 15 bags. Gosh – I welcomed that as “Grace bestowed,” and now the customers determine my direction. They text, message, and do it any time of the day. I found that my ‘Circle of Grace’ cannot be structured around my convenience. It should be around my customer’s needs. I truly am grateful!

The best part is seeing my daughter and granddaughter smile when I write a check to give to my 8yo #princess2015la savings for #collegetravelfunds. 100% of my sales go to that fund.
