Ana called to have a birthday celebration for me. Gosh, this must be my 6th or 7th. Thank you.

As we ordered from Chef Kang’s Hanauem restaurant, the waiter gave me his recommendations. We opted not to order the marinated raw spicy crab. Our tummies might not fare well.

We ordered wagyu short ribs, Kim chee and pork belly pancake with green onions, chicken stew with potatoes, kimchee fried rice and our least favorite was miso with mushrooms and tofu. We could not choose which was the best as they were all good.

Grace came from a waiter’s mistake, he served us octopus seafood pancake. One of us got a tiny octopus. That was our accidental grace for the day!
