Our Mother’s Day was spent in Astrodome where there was a sheep show, composed of 19 varieties including Merino and Drysdale. This is where we got the experience to feed these sheep varieties. We also got to see the shearing of the sheep, done every six months.The Kiwis are very respectful and very sweet people and they love their animals.
We were in the Skyline Luge where we played like children, even hubby was competing with nieces, nephews and brothers.
On Sunday, went to mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church where they organized a market to sell produce,baked goods and crocheted items to raise monies for roof repair. In half an hour, all sold out.
