Perfect Valentine’s day – it started with mass and lenten ashes reminding us that we are dust and to dust we shall return.
My yellow green cymbidium orchids were planted several years ago by my husband @enriquedlz. He said he wants me to have them every Valentine’s and invariably, they bloom around this time.
When I got home from mass, he was planting basil which I love to add to my salads and pastas, as the Holland bulbs and peonies which I bought.
I went inside the house and two tasks I intended to do had been done: laundry and vacuuming the house to prepare for taking care of our 1yo #maharlika2023la. Wow, I felt I could exhale and focus on submitting my written article this Valentine’s day, a labor of love for my subject, myself and my community paper.
We then picked up #princess2015la who had a packed schedule of math tests, music training and more. She was exhausted yet managed to eat dinner with us. After dinner at Uvuo, and enjoying their crudo, pastas and tiramisu, she thanked me for buying her dinner.
